Seeing this much energy behind the Kent ramp idea is honestly mind-blowing because I remember just sitting here wondering if anyone else actually cared about the future of skating in this country. It feels like the momentum is finally shifting toward something real and I honestly cannot wait to see where we take this project next since the community is speaking up so loudly.

This is probably the best idea tht I've heard in a while making more places available to do extreme sports reduces the risk of ppl getting hurt ie skaters and members of the general public because it will be in a controlled atmosphere with health and safety measures in place with medics at hand and also maybe the police won't have to waste so much tym handing out a.s.b.o's to youth just tryin to have fun and turn there resources into more pressing matters like ........ Criminals !!!
This would be so beneficial for BMX and skate enthusiasts and the people of Kent who complain about us. We need a big space to do what we love and to keep out of everyone's way at the same time! This could be potentially life changing for the lovers of skating and BMX alike. We need so many bodies behind this. Let's get it moving!
There is no where to skate anymore, most places ask myself and other skaters to move, so a new skatepark would be awesome! And it would also give people newer to skating, bmxing etc a good chance to progress
Would be nice to have somewhere to go, without constantly being frowned apon, I understand it's probably intimating seeing groups of teenagers hanging around out side in large groups.
It will be free for the local community at least, obviously there are safety issues with large ramps and it won't be free to run! I hope to keep costs to the skating community to a minimum though, thanks for your support, please share the link

Kent and more locally Medway need this so badly, not only will it potentially provide the opportunities for some of our already excellent skaters to go pro, it'll also give those who enjoy skating as a hobby and a way of mixing with like minded folk a place to commune. A very worthy cause.
