I was a regular at the Fairhope Asrham until the lady who ran it became to sick to lead any longer.
Meditation is the one thing that helps even out my pain levels. Please, please, please help us start a new one.

The Meditation Center is a unique outlet that is not available anywhere else in Mobile. The people who run this center and those who mediate here are wonderful beings-accepting, loving, and kind. Anyone who has spent one mediation session here would understand that. This center is a massively vital piece of our community and its cause is absolutely worthy of expansion.

Having a place where people can learn to find inner-peace will only benefit the community.

The City Council should recognize this as an asset to the community, with no expense to the city.

The meditation center is a peaceful place that helps so many people lead better lives. It's run by kind and generous people who are valuable contributors to the community both in and out of the meditation center. I understand this is unfamiliar to some people and sometimes the unfamiliar scares people, but they are not forcing anyone to participate in anything. They are simply asking you to let them make a difference in the lives of those who want and need it. Whether you believe in their cause or not, actively stopping them from helping others is a blatant form of religious discrimination shouldn't exist in 2016.

It's disheartening that there has to be a petition for something that would help so many people.
