Our meditation group is very quiet and peaceful. We teach meditation and have Dharma talk that everyone can benefit from regardless your religious background. And also silence is a must in meditation.

This refusal is ridiculous. "Not compatible? " I suspect you mean "not Christian". Shame on you.

This is a sad injustice to a group of people who want to do nothing more than gather quietly and improve themselves through meditation. I understand that many of the residents might fear something they have no understanding of but that fear is unwarranted. I've attended sessions many times and it's a group of people from all walks of life. Many are professionals and many of them are Christians. There's nothing weird or dangerous about them.
