The Meditation Center of Alabama has brought refuge to so many people seeking peace and tranquility in a very tumultuous time for so many years. The primary objective of the center is to enlighten people with meditation techniques to help bring a more present world based on ancient methods that have been practiced for thousand of years which have shown scientifically that it works in having a more balanced life without anxiety, fear, and anger. Thanks to the Nemet family for such a noble endeavor in making this a better world to live and be present.

This is downright unconstitutional. Your faith is not threatened by other people practicing there’s and you have no right to deny a group the right to practice any aspect of their faith or extend an offer to others to experience it for themselves.

Meditation is a practice to enhance the mind of a human being to be more peaceful, caring and respectful. It is not a religion as such but is practiced by humans of all races and religions all over the world. I wish the people of Alabama are given the chance to practice themselves to be better humans for the american society and hence a role model for people of the rest of the world.

The freedom of religion must extend to people of all faiths. The unconstitutional and un American behavior of the City of Mobile must be dealt with swiftly. Meditation is good for the mind and body. Everyone deserves to take part in such a wonderful healing ritual. Please do the the right thing and uphold our U.S. Constitution by allowing these people to build their meditation center. The people are watching you and we vote!

Meditation has helped me beyond words. It encourages unity, love, and respect.. but most importantly peace. I am not Buddhist but meditation is not about converting, but transforming as an individual, as who you are but better. I will be forever grateful!
