I find great peace coming here, and also learn from the dharma talks. I am so grateful they are here.

This meditation center is a very holy and sacred space. I am not a Buddhist by religious preference, but I do believe that what they teach is beneficial to every religion. It is their religion and I respect it as such. I am an American citizen that votes in Mobile Alabama. I have spent many hours here and I can say it is a religious place, I have prayed personally with Lar many times here, and this temple as I call it is a very holy space. Come here before you judge.

Such actions conducted by and for the city and county are another indication of the staleness of the state and the need for progressive thinkers on all governmental levels.

Meditation is an extremely peaceful practice shared by many people. It is shameful that this is being blocked and prohibited!

As a Catholic who practices yoga and meditation and studies the principles of Buddhism and was raised here in Mobile I humbly ask that MCA be granted the right to assemble on this property.

We can’t let anyone censor us. Regardless of what they deem “religious enough”. Our country wasn’t built on those morals.

In a country built on religious freedom, we must continue to embrace the concepts we are built upon. Without cultural and religious awareness, we will never achieve global peace and harmony.

$500,000?! I am NOT okay with this... Not only would I personally benefit from having a place to go with guided meditations, which are proven to have health benefits... I would appreciate it if the leaders of our city would use their energy & everyone's tax $$$ to do something beneficial for EVERYONE rather than waste energy fighting something that they just don't have a proper understanding of. How about use those funds for better education of our FUTURE leaders... everyone knows are school system is lacking. I feel like this safe place to welcome the public to meditate & learn of it's benefits will do no harm... but wasting tax dollars to fight it is DEFINITELY harming the state of Alabama & its rate of progression. Onto better things!

One of our inalienable rights is freedom to worship as we see fit. We need to protect that precious right!
