It saddens me that this attack on religious freedom is being allowed to take place. This center is not threatening others, neither by proselytizing nor devaluing property values. I support their rights to enrich our community by quiet meditation and peaceful religious study. The unconstitutional denial of their religious freedom should worry all citizens. The moral litmus test of a majority is how respectfully they treat the minorities among them.

Catholics pray the rosary in groups of other Catholics at their homes. Other religions have bible study in groups of their own congregation in their homes. Why are Buddhist’s not allowed to meditate in their home with members of their religion or any other religion. Religious discrimination is unlawful. Please let us have peace for all religions and all people.

I can think of nowhere in the world
that does not need a Meditation Center. This organization is dedicated to helping people and the community in so many ways. I am baffled and frustrated by the obstacles they are having to face and yet, I'm not surprised. I know the area well. Hoping with all my heart that this issue is resolved in their favor.

Freedom of religion is a constitutional right in the United States of America. No federal, state, or local government has the right to tell anyone how and when they are allowed to practice their spirituality.

If a property is properly zoned there should not be any interference from government to allow people to make their desired and appropriate improvements.
