This has been a great neighborhood to live in. Safe for our kids, with a good property value. But I am aftraid with what you are trying to do with multifamily appartment housing you will diminish the property value, compromised the safety of our families and children and potentially diminish the standard of living in our neighborhood. If you choose to ignore our petition, I am afraid we will have to sell our property and relocate to a better neighborhood.

I fully oppose the rezoning for multi family units. The school district, police/fire, and road conditions do not have the ability to support such a huge influx of individuals,

No. Marine Creek Ranch residents do not need the lower property values and increased crime that always accompany multi-family dwellings.

I wholly oppose this rezoing effort by the developer. We would prefer all single family zoning and commercial/retail zoning only.

Absolutely against this rezoning for a multi-family dwelling. All of the stated reasons of the petition are accurate and valid. There is no good reason, stated or otherwise, to degrade the existing marine creek community with apartments.

We moved here almost 12 years ago. We were promised so many things that over the years has never happened. However MCR is beautiful and a place we call home. You can build anywhere. We don't want multi-family units here and would have never purchased here if these units were in community.

We need the roads widened on Huffines, Cromwell Marine Creek, Marine Creek Pkwy, and Ten Mile Bridge Rd BEFORE anymore development of homes or apartments. The roads are beyond horrible with traffic and bad on vehicles. And more street lighting for better visibility while driving and walking and to cut down on crime and vandalism. We also need shopping and a gas station on Cromwell Marine Creek due to the population in the area and the distance to drive for current shopping and gas stations.

In addition to the cited petitions the school infrastructure is already burdened. The new multifamily dwellings, Longhorn Crossings at Old Decatur Rd and Longhorn St, are already maximing capacity at Remington Point ES and they are not fully developed yet. The over flow next year will come to our ES. Additional multi family units cannot be supported. The school district literally needs 2 more ES in this vicinity now to even consider this impact.
