I've seen firsthand the good work being done by the daycare. Sale of this building would provide tremendous uncertainty for many parents, their kids and the employees. I hope this decision is reconsidered to ensure all concerns are properly addressed.

Please do not sell this building. McNicoll Avenue Child Care Program is excellent and needed in the area. It is increasingly difficult to find licensed child care. Especially with new residential development in progress next door. Where are the kids of these new homes going to go?

Our son is moving to JK comes Fall, and I am sad to leave this wonderful, warm, loving place, where our kids are cared for (with a capital C!). I hope the building will remain with TDSB and many parents and children will enjoy the Care provided by McNicoll Ave Child Care program for many years to come.

I remember every day when I drop off and picked up my kids at this daycare, I saw happy faces. This building keeps so many good memories, please do NOT sell it.

All the teachers are very professional and my child has a huge development on her social skill since she start here. Staffs are vigilant in the safety and hygiene of the environment. This is not only good for parents, its also good for the community because they know how to teach children for the society.

McNicoll Avenue Child Care Program is the best program for young kids in this neighbourhood. It helps the families with younger children in this area and keep the community lively and growing. Selling this property would be short-sighted. Please don’t sell it !

As any parent knows, finding daycare (esp. for infants) is extremely difficult in North York and finding one that provides quality care is even more rare. In addition to the daycare, the TDSB property also houses other children services such as Ontario Early Years, and Adventure Place. Do not sell out the community! As a professional with an urban planning background, evidence shows providing necessary services for families and children within the community ensures a sustainable, thriving and healthy community. If you want a diverse mix of age groups and families to even consider living or moving to North York, then providing the essential services is the FIRST STEP. Do not make daycare inaccessible.

The building where McNicoll Avenue childcare center is located in a building that serves children from Adventure Place, the Childcare center and Ontario Early Years Center. It is an integral part of the community.

My son is one of preschoolers in mcnickol child care and if this center is closed it affects on my life and also many other families and staff will have problem to find other places to take care of their kids so it is not fair to take away this facility from the comunity in this area by selling out the center.

In addition to McNicoll Avenue Child Care Program, this same building has been Adventure Place’s home for many years and houses their Sec. 23 Day Treatment program, Willowdale Ontario Early Years Centre, Toronto Partnership for Autism Services program, Early Abilities program, Family Support Services, Every Child Belongs program, Better Beginnings Now/CAP-C program and many administrative staff. The school is used to its fullest capacity for these essential community services. 6826 children and families have received services at Adventure Place last year alone.
