Allow men to have facial hair other than just a mustache, men with just a mustache is looked upon as CREEPY like a pedophile creepy so I urge you to allow close shaven beards and obviously not long gross hairy beards but close shaven clean cut facial hair thank you

I shaved my facial hair because I need to work. However I think if a guy keeps his facial hair clean trimmed and groomed it should be allowed. I am only working part time. Also my religion suggest I have a beard. But again I need a job so it was a tough choice.

The dress code is dated. Go to many other markets and they have beards,long hair,piercings, and don't have to dress like they are about to do your taxes.

I work at the Rowley market basket and all I want is to wear clothes suitable for the weather. I have shorts that go down to the knee, I'm sick of feeling like I'm melting in the summer and then freezing to death by the doors in the winter!

Please hire based on qualities of the individual, not based on appearance. A quality person with piercings is better than an employee with no piercings and poor character. Times evolve, and it is time for Market Basket to evolve. I am sure that the old cash registers were good, but times changed and you evolved. Be the quality company that you should be and allow employees to be individuals, while also being quality employees.

As a male employee who has their ears pierced and wears tiny studs, I find it annoying to be forced to take out my earrings in which are barely visible is kind of absurd to me. There is no correlation between pierced ears and professionalism. It’s 2021 babe
