I agree that beards should be allowed and that men should be allowed to grow their hair out under the terms that they use a ponytail or suspend it in some way. Hair color too should be allowed to be changed as it doesn't affect how someone works, it’s just a color.

This dress code is silly and very outdated, with the job market being what it is today you are missing out on quality employees by sticking to a dress code that is incredibly outdated.

My mother, age 75, has had beautiful light pink bangs for years and has always been complimented on them. She was working as a nurse when she started dying her bangs and is now retired. When she inquired about a part-time job at Market Basket they told her that she would have to get rid of the pink in her hair. Also my 14yr old daughter who is working at the same Market Basket wants to dye her hair a gorgeous purple and isn't allowed to because of her job. Just to metion we are a very high IQ family and mine is Blue, and I'm always complimented about it. Hair color does not determine anything about a person.
