Times have changed! It is now very commen to see nose peircings, grandmas get them , Colered streaks in hair is very popular as well. The customer base comes in with colored hair and piercings. We as associates should be able to reflect not only the times we live in, But the clinet base we serve. I have Two adult daughters who work for the State of NH in social work and they are allowed to have face peircings and tattos.. IF the state of New Hampsire is okay with this. Why can not a grocery store update there dress code policy. It is too strict and old fashioned

My son has long hair and works at MB. He been threatened to get fired if he doesn't cut it. He keeps it up and in a hair net.It is about time MB got with the times if females can have long hair so can men.

I'm a recent hire for the Salem location, and while I can understand the uniforms it's the hair color and length policies that kinda turn me off. Market Basket should absolutely update their dress code!

852 signatures isn’t just nothing. I hope market basket sees this and show how much they “care about us.” As a current employee at market basket I hate shaving I have sensitive skin I bleed easily and it gets itchy afterwards. I do not get it and most people don’t either, how is having a trimmed beard an unprofessional look? It’s very unfair I have to change my appearance to meet the standards of a minimum paying job, that the market basket company is corrupted with their rules and power. I get we’re your “pawns” to you chess game. But a change needs to happen soon, people and I should feel happy looking at ourselves in the mirror. I can’t speak for all but I am not at all happy.

People shouldn't have to change themselves because of a job being a bagger or a part time $15 an hour job. Not worth it.
