Please reopen the fabric stores for they provide supplies that are needed for the face mask which the government encourage to each person to use.

The mayor is having everyone (including some grocery stores) to wear masks when we go out, yet fabric stores are NOT considered as essential? Material is needed as multiple masks are needed, so they can be washed and dried properly. People aren't going out to fabric stores to repairs things...they are going there to help flatten the curve. How is only allowing one store helping??

I have a "rag bag" I can tap into, but most folks don't. Please re-open the fabric stores!

Please reconsider your decision to reopen the store to the public because it is an essential establishment for the supplies we need for face masks. And yes it is also necessary to feel the material before we purchase.

We are in a state of emergency to where masks are essential. What rock did the mayor crawl out from? Is he going to supply the people of Hawaii masks to wear when need be? Idiotic.....

Many other businesses are open that should not be. This can help protect the community at least

If face masks are strongly recommended, and commercial masks are in short supply and only last a few hours, then DIY masks are a necessity. Logically, fabric stores are essential.

I make face masks for front line workers both here in Hawaii and in the mainland. I can't make it without the materials found at the fabric stores. Mainland companies will NOT ship to HI, I've already exhausted that option.

The largest volunteer citizen force since World War II has mobilized to better the health and safety of Honolulu's citizens yet Mayor Caldwell wants to minimize their efforts and for some reason increase the potential infection rate of it's citizens while at the same time have the gun stores open because they are essential! Are we living in some sort of parallel universe?

Helping to make mask for the frontline and essential workers. We can’t do that without access to fabric.

Please keep the fabric stores open so we the people can make those face mask that YOU Mayor Caldwell recommended.
Without the fabric store being deemed essential we the people can’t fabricate the face mask that YOU Mayor Caldwell recommend.
Please allow them to open
