Kaimuki Dry Goods should be allowed to open to sell their fabrics for the face masks.

Please allow Kaimuki Dry Goods store to continue to sell fabrics to make the required face masks. They are providing a community service by offering to open for us.

We need fabric to protect essential workers and ourselves by making masks. We need to purchase fabric that is suitable for mask making and online purchases do not permit close visual and tactile inspection.

My sister-in-law is making fot workers , family, and friends and needs more supplies. Walmart has run low. This is more essential than construction.

Why do state officials continue to make decisions that don’t make sense. The people of Hawaii are trying to help in this craziness by making face masks since our own state officials are not moving fast enough to protect the people of Hawaii.

Please allow Fabric stores to reopen. Closing them was silly.

Fabric needs to be felt with ones hands to select when buying. Online ordering is not acceptable. Some dont have the ability to buy online.

Closing fabric stores now when people need fabric is short sighted and foolish. Not everyone has a computer or access to the internet. A brick and mortar fabric store needs to be kept open. Don’t tell people to go order online when they may not have the means to do so.

You need to sign this. Fabric masks made for those who aren't in the health care industry provide an alternative that frees up needed N95 and surgical masks for those of us who care for COVID patients on a daily basis. Stop being a jerk!

The Surgeon General says everyone should wear a mask but you can’t get the fabric, thread or even elastic anywhere that’s open on Oahu. By not making fabric stores essential is irresponsible and your putting the public at risk. Some stores you can’t even go into without a mask. Shame on you Caldwell that this is even a petition. You should know your only hurting your community by not reopening the fabric stores. Don’t be a covididiot and help the spread.
