The dress code is sexist and demeaning. Does our midriff, bra straps, or knees disturb the learning environment? Why should we be forced to wear our pe clothes for something small like the fraying on our shorts? or wearing a dress or shirt with spaghetti straps? The girls get shamed for wearing something appropriate and have to wear our pe clothes because a teacher or security told us that it was inappropriate. That's ridiculous.

Sorry, I posted Zach's, he had nothing to do with it, I just like pissing him off. Really though, I want people to be able to express themselves as individuals instead of being brainless ploys censored by the federal goverment throught the public school system. It's bad enough that we're forced to go to school, we should at least go how we want to go. Especially PE clothes. I've had too much of the "F-boy Sap-Butt Friday" where I see girls get sexually harrassed due to the fact that they're forced to wear tight shorts.

I want girls and boys to be able to express themselves throught their clothes and show their bodies

dress code isn't making anything better bc it doesn't enforce the rules equally and find it unfair and its pretty stupid how they're sexist and never enforce it on males

I got dress code for wearing a bandana and to keep in mine I'm a African american female. But when my WHITE friend wore the same BLACK BANDANA she had no consequences

The school tell us to be our selfs, but they tell us what and what not to wear. But, Saints Joseph high school an all girl school who wears uniforms can wear shorts anytime they want.

The dress code at our school is so stupid Idk why they dress code shorts to much like what's the point of shorts if there not short like yeah I understand if it's showing your butt but other than that they shouldn't dress code us for that. And what really gets on my nerves is how we can't wear ripped jeans. Like how is that inappropriate and there trying to make us dress classy and stuff when the school itself is ghetto. Like no this isn't a private school.
