As community members of sridham mayapur, we request the owners of Mayapur Bazar to actively take the responsibility of keeping the surrounding area of the Mayapur Bazar establishment clean from retail and wholesale trash. This would be with the cooperation of Clean & Green and not by burning, or dumping in the jalangi. We ask that they commit to a maha clean up weekly of their surrounding area and they are welcome to ask for help from iskcon Mayapur or Clean and Green.
As community members we resolve to not shop in this market until tangible changes are made and a mood of sincere cooperarion begins.

The market owners have not responded to our requests yet but the refusal to shop is already grabbing their attention. Send an email to the bazar management today and remind them that we expect a weekly cleaning schedule instead of burning trash.

The momentum behind this request proves our neighbors are tired of the trash in our streets. Now we must turn this energy into real action. Email the bazar owners today and remind them that we are waiting for a commitment to clean up the Jalangi riverbank.

Let's not pollute holy Mayapur Dham, and instead make it clean so that we can stay in a healthy, peaceful and spiritual environment.
