Hello!
I am looking to run as student representative for our 1L dual class.
In these difficult times and circumstances brought about by Covid-19, I would like to do my best to benefit my classmates. I believe that a sense of community among classmates is an essential aspect of law school, but also that it is far more difficult to create under the current restraints. However, these restraints should not be ignored for convenience. Rather, I wish to work with these restraints, in official and unofficial channels, to provide all the 1Ls a sense of community to help us work through this trying time together.

I have been hearing from many of you about the isolation we face during these remote classes. Please text your study group members tonight and ask them to sign this petition so we have a stronger mandate when we talk to the administration.

The momentum behind this campaign shows that our class is ready for a real change in how we connect. Post the petition link to your law student group chats today and email the student affairs office to tell them we need representatives who prioritize our community.

totally agree with this. it feels like we dont even know each other because of the virtual classes. max has the right idea.

Max is the right choice for this. He actually cares about us getting through 1L in one piece and knows we need someone who will actually listen.
