Hello everyone!

My name is Tara Zrepskey, and I am running to be one of your 1L Class Representatives! One of my biggest goals in law school is to establish a supportive and welcoming community with all of my classmates, and I believe a position like this is one of the best places to start! I want to take initiative and do everything that I can to be a part of and make a statement within this group of students, and I am super honored that I get to work along side all of you during my years here in the school. I want to do exactly what this role states – be a representative for this class! I want to make sure that everyone has a voice that is heard, and I plan on being an advocate for that.

Just a little bit about me before law school… I graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy. I was always an active member of the community at OU, participating in different clubs like Habitat for Humanity, Psi Chi, Amplifying Autism Awareness, and others. My main goals were always to help my community in every way that I could, along with seeking ways in which I was able to connect with classmates whenever possible. I even spent time working as a TA as well – which again gave me opportunity to give back to and connect with other students.

Being a Class Representative, to me, means carrying out the duties assigned to me as an advocate and voice for my classmates. I am super excited to see where this opportunity can lead me, and what it can teach me along the way!
