Yet another idiotic decision by this council with zero consideration for people and the importance of exercise etc! Yet they continue to build on fields all around us!

Awful idea! This will prevent children and families using the area for essential exercise and well being. It will also attract mice/rats to the area, not ideal right next to a school!

I have lived here since 1980 watched children grow up and have children of their own and stayed on this estate It is a communal area for all ages to enjoy. To chat to congregate to walk your dog and children to play in safe area.

Seriously do you really need to take any more green space away from us!

In other words, Cardiff Council are too lazy to cut it? Where on earth are our council tax fees going?

I am all for encouraging wild spaces but there are other ways of promoting wild spaces within Cardiff like preventing development upon Northern Meadows

Our children and families play on the field, they have picnics, they fly kites, the play football, they sledge when it snows, it brings people together....why ruin that for us all.

I am discussed, disappointed, and appalled with CCC surely the wellfare n freedom n recreation of our children should come first.there isn’t any other field around there for them to play , and be outside there own front door so we can see n join in with them especially after lock down it was magical seeing the children free,to enjoy finally being reunited with there friends also for parents to get together arranging picnics, birthday parties so (PLEASE think again you were all young once n had fields to play on) you’ve already got sights on HAYLEY PARK

This is a safe place where children enjoy all kinds of activities from football and ball games and it’s also used by the local nursery ladybirds. Please reconsider cutting this area as it’s a safe place for children to play

This field is the only place in the area that the children have to play. I’ve lived here for 40 years and my children played there and now my grandchildren. It must be kept as it is

This is absolutely crazy and not thought out by cardiff Council. You are reducing the green space surrounding danescourt so restricting areas for children to play and now children will not be able to play and have picnics on this field. It is a critical space for the community. Children, friends and ne8ghbours coming together along with dog walkers. If grass is left uncut there will be no safe space free from tarmac for children to play. It will be full of dog poop too as it will be impossible to find!

This is an area that is well used and loved by all residents of Danescourt. Without this space for our children to meet and play would mean more time spent indoors or travelling to a green space. We use this area frequently for walks, picnics, ball games and meeting with friends and it would have a huge impact on our families well-being if taken away.

The field is such a fantastic area for families and children. Our son has a lovely few hours out here nearly everywhere with his friends, and it so lovely to see. It woukd be such a shame for them, and others to not have this area to play safely.

We use this area a lot as a family. My children regularly play football, cricket and all manner of other games on this grass area. We also walk our dog here every day. This is an absolute crying shame to loose this much used space.

This would be not ne a good idea for the residents of danescourt. This are is the only bit of green space we have for our children to play and residents to enjoy.Such a bad idea.

I use this field daily and it will significantly impact my life in terms of being able to play on the grass with my children and dogs.
