You happily removed the long grass area at the end of Herbert March Close to facilitate a water run off area for a new housing development so why is this now so important? The area you’re looking to remove serves the residents of Danescourt as it is and to change it would have a negative effect on them.

This is a valuable recreational area. The proposals, however worthy do much to reinforce the developing view that the Council cares very little for the quality of life of Danescourt residents.

This will effect the local community and children able to play on the field, dogs to be able to be walked. Come on Cardiff Council.

I grew up on these fields with my best friend, the council are taking away anywhere children can go and play and meet up

Absolutely ridiculous… damage to habitats along Llantrisant Road is irreparable. This proposal is a drop in the ocean and is not what is needed in that location.

Surely they need to cut the grass in the park so just do this space also.

I lived at 25 Mathew Walk for about 8 years when the estate was first built and really appreciated the fields as a amenity for my young family. Please do not ruin this walkway for future generations. It is priceless and a genuine focus for the estate.

Love the idea of biodiversity. If you need it stop filling the spaces with horrible housing that no-one can afford or building railway lines that dont go anywhere. Leave our safe spaces.

This field is regularly used by my Daughter to play ball and other games. Children need a safe space to run and be able to play. It’s the only green space that is in walkable distance from our house.

This is a fantastic green space for everyone in the community. It's used by all ages and is very popular in the warmer seasons for all to enjoy.

This greenspace is next to the school where kids play after school. What a stupid proposal. Keep it clear for kids to play and for people to have picnics and let their dogs run. There are plenty of other spaces that have been left to grow back naturally. Also for Cardiff Council to be concerned about nature is a joke considering Plasdwr, the massive 'garden city' that seems to have houses jammed together with hardly any green space around them.

This green area is so important for our children

A disappointing proposal which ignores that fact this communal space is in constant use year round. It's also the place countless children have learnt to ride their bikes safely which surely will impact the council's cycling strategy where they aim to "double the number of cycle trips by 2026".

Yet another ludicrous proposal by Cardiff Council!
