One of the reasons Mattel changed up the Monster High doll line was parents complaining that they were “too scary.” (But they could just not buy the doll for their kid?) I think that we should just help show everyone that there’s nothing to be afraid of and that they really teach us valuable lessons. As a young doll collector, it makes me sad to see them go completely. (Unfortunately, the reboot seemed flop.) The dolls are still in circulation anyway, so it would make more sense to just bring them back. (Sure, they’re a toy company, but money is still always a factor.) Doll repainters and collectors seem to like the dolls and will surely buy them. There are young kids and others who love them for how unique they are. Hayden Williams is helping to bring back the Bratz and it’s getting a lot of hype. I believe that the original Monster High dolls will receive the same warm welcome back. Monster High dolls taught me all about embracing my flaws and being who I am, it’s a lesson I’ll never forget, and I believe they can go far. In my opinion, they could probably get their own animated series. So, let’s see if we can make a difference. The movies, the original dolls... There will always be a little kid out there who needs the lesson that they taught, and I think it’s a pretty darn good one. So, Mattel, we will buy those dolls and we will love them all the same.
The scale of this response is drawing attention from industry analysts who follow toy market trends. I am currently drafting a formal proposal to submit to the Mattel executive offices regarding the original product line return.

I completely agree, there is values and a lot to learn from the stories MH tells, and changing the original dolls and designs is contradictory to the values of the show, it is about being who you are and being proud of it because everyone is beautiful not changing yourself to the standards of others.
