I can’t believe that we are a company that chooses to completely ruin someone’s career without even having a conversation, investigation or proving beyond reasonable doubt that firing the agent and removing their opportunity to have the retirement funds they worked their butt off for, was the only answer to a problem. The only reason I’m with Exp is because of Matt Curcio. He opened my eyes to the opportunity at Exp for my future regarding things other than commission and made me realize there is no other brokerage that compares. He lives about 2 hours away from me, and does frequent trainings in my area. His trainings bring 20 or so agents in attendance and I learn something new from him every single time. He is the biggest advocate of Exp, understands and explains the model so that any agent listening gets that “aha moment” and he’s really just a complete asset to the company’s growth, especially in NJ. Whoever fired him without asking for an explanation, should be the one in the hot seat, because that’s completely irrational, irresponsible and just flat out reckless. As agents, shouldn’t have targets on our backs, we should have an army that’s willing to defend us. That’s what our brokers and management team should be doing...defending what’s right, questioning what seems out of compliance and reporting concerns to a panel that decides next steps. “Next steps” should at minimum, include an explanation from the agent in question. If this situation was publicized, why would anyone want to be an Exp agent???? If I was told about this prior to joining, I certainly wouldn’t have joined. Transparency and trust are the 2 things I require when working with an agency of any kind. This whole situation shows no transparency and certainly lacks trust. I’m not proud of it at all. We have to do what’s right and bring Matt back. He is an innocent hard working agent that attracts the best of the best. Let the other brokerages be mad, and eliminate the real problem, if there is

I think Agents need to be given the opportunity to explain themselves under questionable circumstances and prior to termination. I know I would want the opportunity to explain anything I know before being let go from anywhere as being able to work is extremely important.
Please give Matthew curcio an opportunity to redeem himself. He obviously loves exp realty. Let's love him back.
