Did you fail your math 1505 midterm? Did you do all the homework questions and find out that the test does not reflect what is taught in class? Are you studying excessively and not getting the grades you are capable of obtaining? Sign this petition to let the math faculty know that this is an issue that needs to be addressed. We hope with this petition the math faculty will give us the opportunity to raise our mark by adding a group assignment or bell curving our marks. We should not have to re-do a first year course and spend hundreds of dollars on a course that we studied so hard for and still not pass.

1) The HMWK is given..and it is done too.. but the Midterm's are SO NOT CLOSE TO WHAT WE DO IN CLASS 2) MONEYYY...we dont want to drop the course but i mean if v get a low 50 then we damm so sure will...
I have had to drop this course in the past due to bad teaching methods and a prof who rarely even understood the questions i tried to ask him. It was a waste of money and still worries me to this day as I do not know how I will achieve this credit. Many people I have met have all felt the same way. The tests were almost impossible for us as we were unable to reach the proper answers, even when trying so hard to understand. The professor focused more on the theory of the material, but not explaining how to go about to solve them.
I've had to drop this course 2-3 times and lost a lot of money. I'm a student. I don't have a lot of money. I've been contemplating taking it at a different school because it's the only course between me and my degree that I'm dreading
Raguimov focuses his lectures on theories and not application. This is why students are not able to learn how to properly handle math problems. We're being tested for applications. This is why students are relying too much on textbooks since his lectures are useless.
I have personally not taken this course yet, but have heard almost all my friends complain about it. And I'm sure not everyone can be just plain bad at it. This is one of my required courses and I do not want a bad grade because there is something wrong with the course. Clearly, there is a problem to fix. And this problem is a major issue for so many students trying so hard to keep their gpa high enough. In the end, there is only so much a student can do. I hope this problem is fixed as soon as possible.
Definitely suck. The test are not really reflecting the homework.

Taking this course for the second time. The test are never what's on the homework. The classes are not at all motivating they focus told much on the theory which is thought from slides and then expect us to know how to apply it to very difficult questions.
