At least control if not eliminate the coyote problem.

So sad my niece and her family had to lose their pup this way. Please consider realistic control methods to ensure that this does not happen to another family.

The loss of a pet can be devasting. It is time to do something about the coyotes on Sullivan's Island.

A pack of coyotes can and will kill small children. This is a serious threat if there are known packs.

As long as the accreted land on SI continues to grow uncontrollably, coyotes will continue to be a problem on this small island. The coyotes have the perfect habitat to retreat to. When their food source is depleted in the accreted land, their only other choice is to roam our streets in search of our domestic pets. I witnessed my 75lb labrador retriever being chased by a coyote in my yard one year ago, in broad daylight. The thick underbrush in the accreted land harbors these coyotes and until SI town council chooses to do something about this, the coyotes are hear to stay. I live on the accreted land and fear for my 3 pets safety everyday. Please let SI town council hear your voice!

How shameful that some in our town place the protection of coyotes over the protection of our children and pets. Sullivan's Island needs to take the proper action before another beloved pet or Child is injured or killed.

How awful to loose a dear pet , a household member in this manner! The coyotes need a restricted area away from families! Poor Matey! Let this terrible incident be the last of its kind!

This is such a sad situation, that poor puppy...don't wait for this to happen to a child before you take action because then it will be too late!!

Get rid of those suckers ASAP!

Co-existing is obviously no longer the best option. The coyote population is growing with no natural predators on the Island, and it is only a matter of time before a child is attacked. Do something now!
