DATE: MAY 31, 2010 TO: MTI SENIOR MANAGEMENT AND THE FX CHIEF FROM: CLASS MEMBERS OF THE MASTERY COURSE #3 AS SIGNED SUBJECT: A REQUEST FOR A FULL TUITION REFUND WHEREAS, WE THE UNDERSIGNED MEMBERS OF THE 3RD MASTERY CLASS HAVE UNIVERSALLY CONCLUDED THAT THE PRODUCT WE PURCHASED FROM MTI ( THE MASTERY CLASS FOR A TUITION OF $10,000.00 OR $8,000.00 AS APPLICABLE PER CLASS MEMBER ) WAS NOT DELIVERED TO US AS ADVERTISED; FAILED TO SATISFY THE PRINTED GOALS MTI SET OUT; AND MISLEADING OR OVERSOLD ORAL EXPRESSIONS AND INDUCEMENTS THAT WERE MADE TO THE PETITIONERS BY MTI STAFF IN THEIR PREPARATION TO FILL THE CLASSROOM;THEREFORE, WE HAVE SET OUT THE FOLLOWING GRIEVANCES AS OUR JUSTIFICATION FOR OUR REQUEST OF A FULL REFUND OF THE RESPECTIVE TUITIONS PAID; 1. MASTERY COURSE SCHEDULE WAS NOT TAUGHT AS ADVERTISED; 2. INFORMATION SUGGESTED TO BE IN THE TUITIONS WE PAID FOR THE MASTERY COURSE WAS ALREADY IN THE BULL PEN FOR FREE; 3. INSTRUCTORS APPEARED TO FINESSE THE CLASS PREPARATION ‘AND NEGLECTED TO PROVIDE…EXCEPT IN A CASE OR TWO…THE ONE-ON-ONE OVER-THE-SHOULDER MENTORING THAT WAS ADVERTISED TO BE AVAILABLE TO THE STUDENTS SIMPLY BY VIRTUE OF THE FAVORABLE MENTOR-STUDENT RATIO; 4. BRIEFCASE WITH PRINTED PAGES WAS A FAILURE AS A TRAINING GUIDE AND EVEN DURING THE ‘QUIET TIME GIVEN’ TO COMPLETE THE PAGES THEREIN, THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT TO PROVIDE COUNSEL FROM THE TWO ATTENDING MTI COACHES; 5. CLASS GOT OFF TO A BAD ADMINISTRATIVE START…LACK OF PROFESSIONAL PREPAREDNESS IN THE CLASSROOM, A HELTER SKELTER APPROACH TO GETTING THINGS SETUP AND RUNNING LEAVING MANY TO VOICE OPENLY WHETHER MTI HAD FORGOTTEN THE COURSE WAS SCHEDULED; 6. MTI COACHES IN THE ROOM PROVIDED LITTLE CONFIDENCE THAT ALL WAS UNDER CONTROL; 7. ALL SPEAKERS SHOULD BE MIC’D…EACH WORD OF A TRAINING CLASS IS IMPORTANT…MISSING A WORD OR PHRASE MAY LEAVE THE STUDENT(S) CONFUSED…AND / OR RELUCTANT TO ASK FOR A REPEAT FOR FEAR OF HOLDING UP THE CLASS; 8. SECOND NIGHT’S TRADING SESSION WAS A MESS AND A FAILURE BY THE CHIEF’S OWN ADMISSION; TOO LITTLE SCREENS TOO MANY PAIRS AND LACK OF FOLLOWING ESTABLISHED TRADING GUIDLINES AND SIGNALS; SCREENS WERE TOO SMALL AND THERE WERE TOO MANY PAIRS BEING TRADED SIMULTANEOUSLY A TOTAL DEPARTURE FROM TRADING FUNDAMENTALS WHICH COST THE STUDENTS LOTS OF MONEY AND CONFIDENCE IN THE TRADING TECHNIQUES; 9. ANTICIPATING INTRODUCTION TO NEW TECHNIQUES AND GUIDELINES ie TURBO TRADER ( WHICH THE STUDENTS PAID FOR IN THEIR TUITION ) WAS IN FACT ALREADY AVAILABLE FOR FREE IN THE BULL PEN; FAILURE TO DELIVER CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION HELPFUL TO TRAINING US TO BE MORE SKILLFUL AND SUCCESSFUL TRADERS WAS NOT FULFILLED; 10. MTI PROMOTED THE IDEA THAT WE WOULD BE INTRODUCED TO MULTIPLE TRADING STRATGIES WHEN WE INTRODUCED TO ONLY ONE; ALSO ADVERTISED THAT WE WOULD BE PRESENTED HOW BROKERS WORK AND TRADE AND HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT KNOWLEDGE. NOW WE, THE PETITIONERS FOR THE 3RD MASTERY CLASS, HAVING MADE AN HONEST SELF-EXAMINATION AND A COLLECTIVE EVALUATION 0F THE COURSE AND THE PERSONNEL; WHAT THE COURSE FAILED TO DELIVER AS ADVERTISED; AS WELL AS REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY MTI PERSONNEL TO STUDENTS DURING THE MATRICULATION PERIOD …DO HEREBY FIRMLY AND RESPECTFULLY REQUEST A FULL REFUND OF OUR TUITION PAID TO MTI FOR THE MASTERY CLASS 3 WE ATTENDED; AND WILL WITHHOLD ANY ENDORSEMEN OF THE PROGRAM UNTIL THIS REQUEST IS HONORED.
