I called the Lodge the other day and spoke with Will Currier who stated he wasn't the person who should receive the information. He requested my phone number, I gave him both my work and cell number. He claimed the Grand Master would return my call. To date nobody's returned my call! What blew Will's mind was when I called him Worshipal! I explained my Dad was a Mason....I agree, it's time the Masons embarked upon the 21st century and realized that times have changed; and Masons who ride motorcycles and do community work are a benefit to the organization!

I have known this group of young men for many, many years and have never seen them do anything even remotely illegal, or harmful.I do not believe this chapter should be deemed unlawful. Nothing could be further from the truth. They are all about helping the people who need help. Please do not suspended or expell theis fine group of people, who also have wonderful wives too.

I have heard from many Brother Widows Sons that this organization saved their masonic "carreers". The Craft in general could stqand to take a lesson or two from the Widows Sons; from encouraging active participation in members' Craft Lodges, to personifying Brotherly Love by extesnive visitation, to demonstrating that great moral duty of Freemasonry - Charity, the Widow's sons are the embodiment of The Ideal Mason moreso than ANY other concordant body. To deem participation in the Widows Sons "unlawful" is shameful and narrow-minded! My association with the Widows Sons has changed my life and the lives of my wife and family...just ask any one of them! Too many Grand Masters are of the opinion that they and they alone know what is best for our craft.That type attitude leads to decisions such as this.I don't know of a single Brother Mason that is also a member of the Widows Sons who is involved in any activity that is remotely unmasonic.In my opinion,the continuation of misguided decisions like this will lead to Brothers being forced into meeting in a clandestine form,while continuing to do good works in their communities.

I am proud beyond words to be known as a Widows Son. I was a good man before being introduced to the Kings Guard, Grand Chapter of New York,and now by the influence, support and brotherhood bestowed upon my by my fellow Widows Sons, I strive every day to be a great man. Being a member of this wonderful organization has not only changed my life, but the lives of my family. Widows sons are there for each other, no matter what the circumstance may be. We strive to better ourselves, each other, and the world we live in for all of humanity. To deem a good, charitable life " unlawful" is sad to me, and is not what Freemasonry means in my life. Stay strong brothers.
