We need more representation, and this would be a great start to a highly popular franchise.

It's weird that Mass Effect fails at this, while Dragon Age does so well.

Fact that there is no MLM relationships in first game and no same gender romances in second is just homophobic

LGBT fans deserve better and with Bioware’s emphasis on choice, we should be able to complete the game while acknowledging our sexuality.

Mass Effect was one of the first Video Game franchises that I ever played with positive LGBT+ exposure. This happened to coincide with when I first became comfortable identifying as Bisexual and Mass Effect helped contribute to that. These same-sex romances can be that for someone else. This trilogy is one of the most impactful in a generation and the positive impact this could make for LGBT+ representation is significant. Please reintroduce these to the game, it will only do good.

I’ve played the ME1 Ashley/FemShep mod, and although some audio isn’t tuned, it’s complete. There shouldn’t be an issue fixing the audio (or even getting new audio recorded). BioWare is big enough now to not worry about conservative news agencies threatening boycotts (and many gamers (I.e. paying customers) don’t watch those channels, anyway).

Believe it or not, Mass Effect actually helped me discover my own bisexuality. It was a marvel of inclusivity… for its time. Time’s are different now and this amazing series that has captured the hearts and imaginations of so many should reflect that. Sci-Fi, at it’s very core, is about predicting the future. And Mass Effect’s prediction is that, no matter what differences may separate us, we will always come together and do what is right when it matters most. Some may say that this doesn’t matter. That its just pandering. I say that there are people discovering this amazing universe for the very first time and seeing what could be a possible future. A future where they can be who they want to be, and not only is this accepted, it’s celebrated.

Sci-fi has and always will be gay. Creatives shouldn't bend to the pressure of execs who are only interested in creating a money making product, to the point that they are forced to erase intended LGBTQ+ characterization. Mass Effect is already a clearly queer universe with many examples of same-sex relationships, so there's absolutely no reason why these characters' queer qualities shouldn't be restored.

It's Literally, the least they can do after years of support from loyal fans. Its not even that hard to do, if a modder can fully restore a romance that doesn't even have fully recorded lines.

I'm hoping to see more forward thinking in the gaming industry as a whole. Bioware adding features, that are mostly in the game, would be a start to representing the LGBTQIA+.

Let me romance Jack as a woman just like you were going to originally. Fox News can’t hurt you lol and you’ll gain the support of the gays, so win-win

Kaidan/Ashley and Shep even having full voice lines in ME1 for all romance combination, this would be a no brainer. add a hand full of voice lines in ME2/3 and those romances are fully set up to work across the trilogy.

It doesn’t hurt anyone to do this.
