I want to play this game series when I get my PS5, but if my story can't start until the third game why bother? It's so cool that the story and save carries to the next game... it would be nice to enjoy this series but that means going back in the closet for two games.

I have adored the Mass Effect series for years, but as a queer person who's gotten used to grudgingly sighing at even the media I love, my fondness for the series doesn't blind me to where it can improve. Bioware has proven their willingness to listen and make changes in the past, and nothing that's being asked for is unreasonable. These are changes that need to happen. It's 2021. Mass Effect is supposed to show our future, but at least in this regard, it's struggling to keep pace with our present.

Coming from a heterosexual man, I couldn't agree more with what this movement is fighting for. Bioware has a real chance to bring this game (ironically) back to the past and the 21st century. Make an already brilliant trilogy even better so that EVERYONE feels like they belong.

The fact that the developers VERY EASILY could have included the content that ALREADY EXISTED IN GAME, that some unpaid modders had been able to add in the first round with mods, and the developers deliberately left it all out, bothers me to the Nth degree! So maddening! Be better!

Considering the game is set in the future, especially compared to how far we’ve come socially in the current time, I find it absolutely horrifying that there isn’t better lgbtq+ inclusion in the legendary edition. It was honestly disappointing to realize that that, rather important, part of the game had been glossed over. In the current social climate, and how you already have better representation in the Andromeda game, you really could and should have done better.

Please! These games really mean a lot to me as a queer gamer but it's really disheartening that I can't romance my favorite companions because of the same-sex barriers...
