It's completely asinine that romance options cut due to "controversy" from an era where same-sex marriage was not yet legal were not restored in MELE.

I hoped for Mshenko in ME1LE... you know.. almost all files are there. It required litle work... and yet they didn't do it... such a pity

Only reason I'd buy the Legendary Edition is if this is fulfilled. That and gay Garrus option - so many of us want it.

ME2-ME3 Jackxfemshep would love tali or Miranda but I know that won't happen,
For the guys give them Jacob, or Thane, maybe Garrus. I pre-ordered this on console because I love this game and didn't have a pc at the time. Now I do but I shouldn't have to spend more money to buy it on pc because the modders are willing to do what you won't. You have nothing to lose from this, but the good will and confidence in Bioware you'll gain will help you greatly.

We should have Ashley and Kaiden same sex for all 3 games. ME2-ME3 should have at least Jack for femshemp, I'd love Tali or Miranda, but probably not gonna happen. And give the guys some love Jacob, thane, maybe Garrus. You've gone backward from your previous games and it sucks. I pre-ordered this game on console because I love the game and didn't have a pc at the time. People on pc added this for free so I feel like your company can as well. You'll get respect from the community; something you are quite lacking at the moment.

Open romances for all regardless of race/gender/sexual orientation. Equality should be the norm. Restriction is not representation. #MAKEMELEINCLUSIVE

Having only wlw romances for the first two games before any mlm is such disappointing fetish fuel, especially with how Bioware claims to be progressive. Unlocking the romances only adds to the experience. Do better for the LGBTQ+ community, Bioware. You can't change all of it, but we're better than fetish fuel and afterthoughts,

Modder here. Fun fact: All of Kaidan's dialogue in ME3 has variations in case male Shepard romanced him, even before you can officially lock their romance during the Citadel date.
Which means that Bioware developed his dialogue as if romancing Kaidan in ME1 was a real option, which it obviously isn't without mods.

Mass Effect shines through its characters and while I can somehow excuse the fact that there was content that had to be cut at the time of its first release - though it had been an exceptionally close-minded selection -, we now live in a time where that content is widely required, to the point that fans had to resort to modding to get the representation they need and deserve.
