Last year they wore masks with “breaks”- a virus doesn’t stop during a break. Ridiculous. Let masks be optional, though they will need to monitor for bullying from teachers and students on this issue. With the mental health and development of our children at risk, social distancing and masking must end. I just hope they go about this in a smart way, putting the children first.

Kids need to build immunity the natural way. The masks are a waste of time if they aren't used correctly anyways.

In a real pandemic we wouldn’t be debating the purpose of schoolchildren wearing Masks. There are proven treatments for Covid-19 that our fraud Governor has outlawed. Get healthy and be healthy. Masks trap bacteria and viruses—they are not healthy. They are psychologically destructive. Whatever argument you have for Masks is based on a 17th century understanding of reality. Wake up and have some courage!

I agree with the comments previously posted. My biggest agreement is that with masks our children are losing some very important social skills. Masks have not been proven to save lives. Studies have shown children are the least susceptible of this virus. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be wearing the mask. Let's get past this once and for all!!!

The mask business is just one of the ways they control our lives--which would not be so bad if those who have been fully vaccinated, wearing a mask who still get the virus & die.

This masking has gone too far. It was only meant to be worn by the infected, not by healthy people who are not COVID positive. Unless they have an underlying health condition, children are much, much lower risk of hospitalization or death from this, let alone transmit it. We've been through more deadly pandemics than this in the past and we never wore masks in public places, nor did we lockdown our country and economy. There's no excuse for this. This is more of an act of subjugation that an act to protect public health. Enough is enough!
