I cannot agree with this comment enough. A spiritual war has been raging in this nation and some are still blind to it. As a Christian school, we either believe in faith that God can keep us, protect us, heal us, or we don’t. If we’re going to listen to any science, let’s listen to the (real) science of those doctors and immunologists who have been repeatedly silenced, censored and ignored by main stream media as they have been trying to tell the truth about their success with treatments all along, not to mention what they have been saying about the harmful physical and emotional effects of wearing a mask for so long. Our children absolutely deserve better. Let’s also pay attention to the recovery rate of 99%, especially if treatments like Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin are administered early (yes, they DO work)! Doctors were not treating at the onset of symptoms in the beginning of this virus last year and in doing so, a lot of people were unnecessarily lost. They were telling people to stay home until they got worse before they could be treated—and even then they were not giving respiratory therapy, etc. This isn’t science nor is it honoring the Hippocratic Oath they took as physicians. Thankfully there were physicians who did what they knew was right even at the risk of losing their license to practice medicine. We must live in faith over fear; otherwise, there will ALWAYS be something to fear! God says “fear not” 365 times in the Bible—once for each day of the year! It’s time to make masks optional.

FREEDOM!!!!!! Never before in history have we quarantined the healthy, or forced mask wearing on the healthy. ''2 weeks to slow the spread'' has become over a year now. Enough. People are so afraid of dying that they have stopped living. God created us to live in community, not to live in fear of others and wear a mask constantly so that we cannot see each other’s faces. I agree that masks do not work as well as we have been led to believe. I also agree that we are teaching our children to live in fear and follow man vs. following our God, Jehovah Rapha, The God who Heals! There is a spiritual war going on in this country, and worldwide. Regardless of what political stripe you happen to wear, the war is ongoing and is there if you look for it. It must be fought primarily on our knees, in fervent prayer. However, that does not mean we cannot exercise our freedom as citizens of a free nation and fight tyranny when it presents itself. The government lost me a long time ago with respect to its handling of covid-19. Evil and tyrannical governments have existed since the beginning of time. Don't be naïve and think it cannot happen in America, because it is happening right before our eyes. Any dissenting opinion about the coronavirus is being censored. Doctors are being censored, sometimes fired for speaking out. If you want your child to continue to wear a mask, then they should be free do so. You SHOULD have that right as a parent. But those of us who do not want our kids to wear a mask should have that right as well. Especially since the REAL science does not support it. FREEDOM!!!!!

I believe masks should be a choice. The mandate is an infringement on our civil liberties. Much more emphasis should be put on strengthening your individual immune system.

I believe that the students should have the choice to wear a mask. With the data provided and the state mandate lifted the time is right to put the choice in the hands of the families and students and let them make the decision.

I am a student at SCS. I signed this petition because I believe that masks are unnecessary for going to school, it has been proven that masks don’t protect us as much as some may claim. Another reason for me signing is because I keep getting demerits for my masks. I do not usually get demerits and I am not that kind of student. So I think that it is unfair that I keep getting punished for taking a moment to breathe.

We are told by the faculty that being six feet AND mask are needed to be safe. But with the option to have our mask off for 30 minutes to eat lunch contradicts what we have been told. And their efforts to “social distance hallways” is not true at all. Everyday people are packed in hallways and never any “social distancing” is enforced.
Gov Burgum needs to work for the people!!
