The revenues from casino gambling should go directly to the schools as indicated. Our children are the future leaders of this world, why not prepare them as best as possible. Don't they deserve it?
The wool was pooled over the eyes of the citizens of MD when this deal was presented. Clearly, there was a conserted effort to decive the public in the way these funds would be used. This injustice to the children of our neediest schools needs to stop now.

Our schools are in desperate need of repairs and more teachers. Please do the right thing for the children by using the funds as they were intended.

The citizens of MD were told repeatedly how the money earned from the gambling casinos would go to education. Well let's do that. Keep education number 1 in MD

This is an issue that was discussed in 2012 and the understanding was that the funds would increase the education budget, otherwaise no one would have voted for the casino gambling.

When MD gambling was being proposed, it was promised that the gambling funds would be in addition to and not instead of the education funding sources already in place. Gambling funds should not be used to reduce the MD's existing commitment to education. Gambling funds should be used to grow MD's commitment to education funding.
