Our friend, sister, daughter, mother, Marsha Overpeck has applied for disability benefits, because she simply has no choice. She is not one of those people who has never taken advantage of the system and has worked hard all her life. She has been given lame excuses for why she cannot receive these benefits which are just paperwork problems, such as not enough documentation (when there clearly was), the paperwork was wrong, and now it cannot be found. This woman has an arachnoid cyst on the brain, Lyme's disease in her nervous system, a spot on her lung, congenital heart defect with a leak, two bulging disks with one ruptured, carpal tunnel in both hands and pinched nerves in her shoulder and elbow! There is no excuse for denying this woman benefits whatsoever. Please re-consider her case and do your paperwork more efficiently. We hope this gets resolved soon because it is just causing her illnesses to worsen.
