I do believe the marking was extremely unfair and comments made were not expressed on the rubric so there was no clear indication of expectations. I worked with a tutor on the first assignment and she also did not agree with the mark and comments based on the rubric we were given. Have not received the mark for the second assignment to date. However, again without the last minute published Q&A's , there would have been NO way I would have interepreted those expectations from the rubric provided.

First assignment was marked unfairly. I have never received a mark that low in my four years of university. Still have not had my second assignment graded or returned to me and it is 2 days before the exam. Teacher sent multiple emails with additional expectations not clarified in the rubric way too close to the assignment due date. And yes, the teacher contradicts herself in different emails and emails vs rubric.

I believe that the first assignment was marked very unfairly and inconsistently when compared with other classmates work. The rubrics for assignments are not clear of expectations and were often contradicted through numerous confusing emails. Although the professor has many students to communicate with through email, she was not efficient in the way additional information was consistently provided to us, with expectations of assignments added very close to the due date.

Please update after receiving the second grade as I did for mine and it was not better even though I sent in a draft, and followed the rubric to the T. I will be speaking with the chair on Monday am.

I as well found that the marking was unfair in the first assignment. There were changes to the assignment very close to the due date. Contradictions between emails and the rubric, and with the feedback received, it did not reflect in the grade I was given. I haven't received a grade this low since my first year fall semester and I am currently in my fourth year. I was quite frustrated and angered by the grade I received. Did not make sense.. thought I was the only one who thought this...

Marking was unfair based on the rubrics provided, which lacked clarity. I agree that the teacher responded to emails with additional expectations too close to the due date. She also contradicts herself in each email, thus expectations are not clear at all.

Unfair marking on the first assignment and therefore had to drop the course as a result.
