Maritime Academy Charter School has got approved to expand its charter to include grades k through 3, Maritime already has grades 4 through 12. The principal stated that although they have gotten approved they do not have enough children to fill those classes. I have been advised to start a petition to persuade the school board to open these grades beginning September 2014.
