Actually Amy, Florida is not the number one state for animal cruelty. Kentucky is the worst state to be an animal, according to the Animal Legal Defense Fund's recent U.S. Animal Protection Laws & Rankings. Florida has many serious issues, but we are ranked #15 in the country. We all need to work together to make change, not only in the state of Florida, but across the United States, as well.

God gave us animals to enjoy. To take care of love them. i have dogs and horses i love all my heart. They are my children. So the the person who ABUSES these animals. Go to prison fine. And not ever have another animal or pet again. If you dont like animals dont own them in the first place.

Considering that Florida appears to be the number 1 state when it comes to animal abuse, we definitely need something like this. Stop protecting animal abusers! Animals should not be so disposable to people. They need protection too!
