The abusers should have done to themselves exactly what they did to abuse these animals. They didnt care so why should we care about them.

Please be the example the entire state can follow. Hoarders and other animal abusers need to be stopped and the public needs to know who they are so we do not let them buy our animals.

the State attorneys, judges, law enforcement need to step up and crack down on abusers. MOST violent criminals and crimes start with the animal abusers ! FBI studies show and alarming connection between animal abusere and perpetratiors of extremely vioulent crimes against humans. THe FBI also believes early detection and intervention will cut down on crimes .

Makes me disgusted that people treat animals this way and even worse makes it so much harder for real rescues to get donations and REALLY help.

This registry must be passed in Marion County! Our county would set a huge precedent for the state of Florida and other states across the country. It should be state law!

We must expose the truth, educate others, raise the bar for the welfare of animals and reduce their pain, fear, and suffering. A society is judged by the way it treats those who are most vulnerable, and the creation of this registry sends a strong message that all God's creatures deserve protection from torture and abuse!

Each convicted animal abuser of either a misdemeanor or felony would have to supply the following information on the Abuser Registry...
1. Legal name and/or aliases
2. Date of Birth
3. Current address ( this must be updated any time the abuser moves to another location)
4. Abuser's recent photograph
5. Driver's License number
6. Description of and tattoos, scars, or other distinguishing features
7. Place of employment (to ensure that the abuser is not working with or around animals)
8. Social Security Number (optional)
9. Abuser's fingerprints (optional)
10. Court ordered mental evaluation
Our animals NEED this
It's about time!
EXCELLENT IDEA
