After attending the public consultation meetings, it seems that even the Trant and Barker Mills representatives do not understand what is actually proposed. Marchwood is a village, not an industrial estate, we have enough already, this smacks of financial greed at the expense of the wishes of the village and the needs of the village! Can i suggest that Barker Mills and Trant actually talk to each other so that put across the same information, not the garbled efforts of people obviously confused by their own plans that we saw today!

Marchwood is a village, not an industrial estate, we have enough already, this smacks of financial greed at the expense of the wishes of the village and the needs of the village! Can i suggest that Barker Mills and Trant actually talk to each other so that put across the same information, not the garbled efforts of people obviously confused by their own plans that we saw today!

Marchwood has far too much industry already. How can Barker-Mills even think of proposing more industry in this little village? The local populace can't tolerate any more HGVs, smells, noise, blots on the landscape, destruction of countryside and wildlife habitat. Exploiting land mercilessly to make the rich even richer and bring misery to the local population is disgraceful. Would the Barker-Mills trustees like all this industry on their own doorsteps? No, of course they wouldn't.
