All Political parties come up with various promises at the time of elections. At the time of making promises all the parties are well aware of ongoing political, economical, emotional, legal, geographical, international, interstate etc. arenas. They make promises keeping all the ongoing and ‘could be’ possible factors in mind. Based on the manifestos, the voters elect their representatives, hence theses manifestos should be considered as legal document, which means if a political party/ candidate does not fulfill the promises made by his party/ him in his manifesto, during his/her tenure than the political party/ candidate should be held responsible and prosecuted.
