We've lost so many beautiful buildings, I've never forgiven the city council for what has happened to the Free Trade Hall! The Fire Station must be saved as soon as possible not delayed any further. Look at Mayfield Depot, Albert Hall, all reinvigorated and brought to life by MIF

There have been 15 more years of decay since it was regarded as "at risk". Time to do something before it's too late.

Why are these meetings not held when the ordinary working people of Manchester can attend?

This is a superb building and should be used to provide a major public asset for the city.

my mother was born in flat 7 in 1912 her father worked there when it opened in 1906 my father worked there from 1930. i worked and lived there in 1964 till it closed.my family lived and served the people of manchester for nearly a century.sad for me that the soul of the greatest fire station in the whole wide world as described in 1906 by the lord major has not the same appeal as easy money

My dad was stationed here for sometime, its an iconic building that should be saved. Cities should not all be made up of Steel and Glass

The Fire Station is an iconic building. Don't let Brittannia Hotels let it fall so they can make a fortune out of the land price.
