One of the most iconic buildings in Manchester directly opposite the main railway station and Britannia have been unable to turn it into a landmark hotel in nearly 30 years. It's time to change that.

Don't let Brittania run this into the ground until it has to be pulled down as an eyesore. They are cultural criminals. Save the LRFS!

I think it is disgraceful that this beautiful building has been neglected and aloud to fall into such disrepair. What must visitors to Manchester think when they arrive at Piccadilly Railway station and see this eyesore.
It needs restoring to it former beauty.

The public are becoming aware of how councils and large corporate businesses get around demolishing grade listed buildings. Do nothing with them and wait until they are designated unsafe.

This stand off with Britannia has gone on far too long, time for Manchester City Council to enforce the second CPO in order to save and restore this iconic building.

I worked at London Road for 4 years in the 70's , it's such a beautiful building it should be saved. We don't build them like that anymore.

It would be amazing to see this truly wonderful building brought back to life, preferrably with multiple use and public access

beautiful architecture I used to go school with a lad that lived in there. Please don't waste such a wonderful building. Surely English heritage could help save this masterpiece, please save it

An absolute disgrace that this has been allowed to go on for so long when one of the most architecturally stunning buildings in Manchester is left to rot. Shame on you Britannia!

I've lived in London for about 27 years. Whenever I come home to Bolton to see my family, at the end of my trip my Dad likes to drop me off at Man Picc, and everytime we've driven past and around this magnificent building over the years we always comment on how beautiful it is,what it must have been like in its heyday, and what an absolute disgrace, that it's been allowed to go to rack and ruin. We've both wondered over the years who owns it and why such a former public building is in the state it is. Well, now I know. I was disgusted before, now I'm apopletic. It simply beggars belief that this has been allowed to go on. Britannia should hang there heads in shame and,it makes you wonder what "upgrades" Pickles gets when he's staying at one of their establishments.
I'm happy to sign. Best of luck.

this should be a palace to welcome people into our great city when they arrive at piccadilly. Currently it is an Eyesore. Shame on you Britannia Group - there is nothing sicker than greed
