I work on the same road as the station. It is pityful seeing how it has been neglected. The council really needs to act against Brittannia hotel group.

It's a disgrace what has been allowed to happen to this beautiful building.

This building has so much potential for something bigger and better, something in line with the wonderful buildings I see when I go to London, a quality venue for anything

Save this building, it's part of Manchester's heritage.

Such a wasteful and cheap company should not be allowed the privilege of owning such a beautiful building. Their own lack of action can be seen across all their hotels, each of them crying out for upkeep and maintaining.

Britannia have a long record of destroying historic buildings by refusing to fund even the most basic improvements. They should not be allowed to continue to hold this great building hostage.

It would be a major shame if this iconic Manchester building were to disappear. Britannia should hang their heads in shame but I doubt they will be bothered.
