Despite the neglect, this is such a striking and beautiful building - just think what it could, and should be. 28 years in the hands of Britannia - how can that have been allowed to happen?

Britannia hotels should be ashamed of themselves. Grade II* listed, but no consequences for not looking after your building.

Anything other than restoration for use as a museum and venue for events such as craft fairs etc should be illegal. We don't need any more hotels!!!

Please find a way to restore this building and keep it within Manchester's cultural patrimony. It is an important city landmark and must be preserved. Shame on the Britannia Group for letting it fall into disrepair.
Keep it up!
