There is very little of the old Manchester left. Don't let them tear down this beautiful building just to create another concrete monstrosity.

Britannia Hotels have behaved very badly in their custody of this important Manchester Building.They have simply abandoned it in the hope that it would deteriorate quickly necessitating demolition whereby they might profit.Compulsory purchase for a minimal sum should be exercised now so that the building might be saved ,preserved & used for the benefit of the people of Greater Manchester.

Every time I go past this building it saddens me,What an absolute waste.I don't know all the inn's & out's but it is a total waste.You can see structurally the main hub of the building looks as good as it ever did..A total waste of a great building in an era of fancy S..t buildings....

History is vital for our younger generation so they can understand how we lived in the past and for them to see how much things have changed. We have many "NEW" structures and buildings we need to keep the old ones which hold such good architecture and memories.
