As a retired firefighter that has had first hand experience of this iconic fire station it would be a travesty to so it be lost.

I have often passed this beautiful building ...and thought what a waste ....let's hope that it will be soon restored to its former glory

Trained there in December 1971 With four lads from Warrington fire service. Many memories ,it's a shame such an iconic building going to waste.

Let's get as many signatures as possible to rescue this iconic building, maybe get it turned into the national fire service museum.

Trained and worked here and have strong and treasured memories of not just a building but a superb piece of Manchesters history and heritage. Please save all don Road Fire Station.

It's such a beautiful building that could transform the area. Although please not another hotel.

I'm sad to see lovely landmarks that are subject to neglect and destruction. Was very saddened to see the Queen Elizabeth building opposite the Crown Court go.
