Please help us save this fire ststion. When I was a little girl coming in to Manchester on the bus, I can remember looking intently to see if the big gates were open. If they were I could see right in and possibly see a fire engine. This building cannot be left to decay any longer, I'm appalled it's been left like this

Manchester cannot get rid of an iconic landmark on London Road, just look at the boxes that have gone up in the last few years.

no doubt m/cr city council will relinquish any responsability regarding this and other fantastic lost buildings ...as they have no interst whatsoever in the history of m/cr which they have proved time and time again !!! disheartened manc
