Please keep in mind City residents that your sewer rates will also be increasing due to the City's purchase of more capacity at USOA to accommodate the new Micron expansion. I do not know about you, but our water, sewer and electric bills have been significantly higher than ever and we are just two people in a one level house.

We are paying too many taxes, now! Plus, they’re wanting to narrow Grant Avenue to two lanes from Wellington Road to Lee Avenue at a cost of 8.1 million! We need a study. We need to petition to stop that as well. A new study with cones and a streetscapes set up temporary to re-evaluate!

With one of the highest tax rates in Virginia, ENOUGH!
Stop frivolous projects and studies mostly proposed by city staff. Do citizens who want such understand that is why tax rate gets increased ?

Collaboration is needed to develop alternative solutions to avoid repetitive increases. Our small town is changing very quickly.

Please, no more utility rate hikes, it’s bad enough we have to pay for storm water drainage to begin with, what do you expect us to do, ask God to stop the rain!

Do not increase taxes. They are already very high. Costs need to be cut instead of increasing expenditures.

Please DO NOT raise taxes for the 2020 fiscal year. The hike seems unending year after year. We, the residents need a break. Financially this is hard. Please dont do it!
