There is also a small park on Ward Ave with a wooded area that would make a great dog park.
The current state of the park is in complete disrepair and neglect. I would not take children to play there in it’s current state.
It’s really a shame that the ‘friendly village’ has completely left out man’s best friend from all the parks fun. Almost all parks are no dogs allowed and those that do have no off leash areas.
Hoping this petition can help to change this.

This is long overdue for longtime dog owners. As a new dog owner I would love to be able to stay in my own village to take my dog to the park. Instead I have to travel 15 minutes to find the nearest park.
