Men are paid as little as 3 pounds to have sex with children as part of tradition to initiate them into 'adulthood' in some village in Malawi. This could be happening elsewhere too. This is cruel, disgusting, heartless, barbaric and a shame and a violation of a basic human right.
This is not just about girls in that poor African country. But about you and I, first as Africans- man or woman- and you wherever you are as a human. Children are being raped and infected with deadly diseases in the name of culture. No Culture should allow these heinous crimes.
We implore the Government of Malawi to work with communities to STOP this now. This will stop others elsewhere too.
