It was an accident which happened. The focus of this is to get a crossing in place to try to stop this happening again.

RIP Mark Haywood, gone but not forgotten. This should be a sign, we need speed cameras or a crossing, something that will stop idiot/careless motorist before we lose more good people or even more friends in this world. Sleep tight Mark Haywood

I definitely agree that there should be a set of traffic lights or speed camera down this road. People use it as a road to race on and it's not on!! An innocent persons life was taken last week (I don't know the reasons behind it) But still I have personally witnessed idiots speeding down the straight!!

A speed camera needs to be placed on both sides of the road! The road is highly dangerous and something needs to be done about it! All of marks close friends & family will do anything we can to make a stop to speeding vehicles!
