The Daily News paper 'Gujarat Samachar'has made fun of Jain festival Paryushan which is a festival of seeking and giving forgiveness to the entire Universe in today's weekly addition to their News paper. I make an appeal to people of the community and others to sign this petition.
પર્યુષણ પર્વ જૈનો માટે શું મહત્વ છે ઈ ગુજરાત સમાચાર ને સારી રીતે સમજાવુ પડશે.... જે વાર્યા ન વળે તે હાર્યા વળે....
આ પહેલા પણ ગુજરાત સમાચાર માં જૈન દિક્ષા વિશે બફાટ કર્યો હતો.... હવે બહું થયું.... જૈનો માંફી માંગીને મોટા છે પણ જો મશ્કરી કરી તો હૈયે ભરપુર ખમીર પણ છે.
જૈનો ને અને અન્ય હીન્દુઓ ને નમ્ર અપીલ છે ગુજરાત સમાચાર છાપું લેવાનું સદંતર બંધ કરી દ્યો.

gujrat samachar news paper had hurted sentiments of a jain community by making jokes on our monks, our fasting tapascharya and other religious practices this newspaper should appologies on a front page of its newspaper
These things can't be tolerated. Just because we believe in non-violence & dont indulge in any violent protests, it doesn't mean that anyone can behave as they want... Religious sentiments cant be made fun off.. We oppose it & demand an apology..

Media should be lil mature towards the community and religion. we are Indians and we believe in unity in diversity...we have different colors ; different shapes but one gene is common and that is every Indian is my brother n sister... if we can come together then such kind of editors will think many times to just fill up the space in there news papers.

I strongly object the act by Gujarat samachar team by publishing such a nonsense in their Sunday special - Ravi purti dtd. 09th sept 2018, they must unconditionally apologise publicly for their nonsensical act. Entire Jain community should stop the readership of this news paper so that they understand our contribution to the society and respect our religious belief.. Pranam
